Plural Rich Presence - The Crystal Website

Plural Rich Presence is an application to show who is currently set as "In Front" inside the Simply Plural,
an app for iOS, Android and Web for tracking front changes & will display it as your 'Activity' on Discord.

It ha multiple ways of functioning, it can either implementing a discord client itself, or running via RPC -- exactly how any game or other software would do it; the downside of that is that Discord, *and* the rich presence program, both have to be running at the same time.

The option to implementing a client is useful for running it on a Linux VPS or a server 24/7;
.. though is known to cause notifications to drop from time-to-time.

it is also possible, but unconfirmed that using it in such a way (i.e not via RPC) could be breaking discords terms of use, particularly the section on account automation

I do not really consider this 'automation, no less than what you can do already can with RPC;
i would think that would be more about making spam bots or something, but still- if your worried about that, just use it in exclusively RPC mode, its the default anyway.
